Video Games Live: Level 2 on CD, DVD and Blu-ray photo

Popular videogame concert series Video Games Live is best seen...well, live, but if you can't make it to a show, this upcoming disc release should work quite nicely. Video Games Live: Level 2 brings the concert to video for the first time, bringing top orchestras playing the best game music to your home.

The video release includes more than three hours of bonus material, including interviews with composers, "making of" segments, trailers, and some behind-the-scenes bits. Of course, the bulk of the video content is a filming of the actual concert, which you may have seen part of on PBS lately. This is the full show that was recently filmed in New Orleans. It features the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, a 34-person chorus, and several soloists and special sections.

The CD and video releases all go on sale on October 19th. We're following up on pricing on these releases. For now,  you'll find the tracklist for the CD and video discs after the jump.

Do want. VG live 2.0 was one of the best live music performances I've seen in many many years

Oh great, halo and god of war are wasting disc space. That just means a chorus of failed opera singers, chanting in some language you have never heard before in order to make it sound "epic"

That CD is essentially what the mix was when I went (which also happened to be the 100th show and premier of the Chrono Trigger medley). Much more pleased with this over the first CD.
