If you haven't had a chance to check out Video Games Live, you're doing yourself a disservice. The peanut butter and jelly mix of live musicians and a stunning, cutting-edge visual experience is unlike anything you'll ever see (although that Megadeth/Pantera concert I went to in high school comes pretty close).
Your list of excuses for not catching the show has dwindled. Video Games Live has announced 40 shows for 2008, which take the tour around the globe -- Taiwan, Brazil, Germany, France, England, Scotland, the United States ... you get the idea. Tommy Tallarico and Jack Wall will be bringing their production to a number of high profile industry events and conventions as well, including GDC, San Diego Comic-Con, Leipzig Games Convention, and more.
Hit the jump for a list of announced shows. I'm going to try to make it out to the New York City date in April and the show in Shanghai ... who's with me?

That's the problem with living where I do, you have to travel a good four/five hours just to get to a major city that hosts cool stuff like this.
