I'm so pleased to hear that a series of game music concerts is blowing up. It's literally a worldwide success now, and I hope it continues. Tommy, Jack and the gang: we here at Destructoid wish you the best in the future. You guys are kicking ass. See you in Tokyo?
Here's a short list of some of the places VGL is headed for the rest of 2009:
- Taiwan
- China
- Tokyo (during Tokyo Game Show)
- All over Brazil
- France
- UK
- America: GA, PA, NY, OR, AZ, MN
“Our goal and dream of successfully showcasing the video game industry and video game music to the masses has really taken off.” said VGL co-creator Tommy Tallarico. “The support and interest from around the world has been absolutely amazing and we’re really looking forward to continuing this for many years to come.”
That's a pretty packed 2009. See the full schedule after the jump. Believe it or not, they already have about 70 shows lined up for 2010. If you're in any of the listed locales and would like to see the show, head here to buy tickets.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
You'd be crazy not to go see these guys if you have the chance.
Why can't they do two dates in France ? Paris is too far away T___T
Goddamn.
... There is a god. :D
Anyway, FUCK YEAH MINNEAPOLIS. I'm so going.

I would prefer something closer to Southern New Jersey, like Atlantic City, but I'll take what I can get.
In an unrelated note, I already bought a ticket for me and my girl for the Warsaw, Poland concert! I did it about 2 days after the concert was announced and there were already only like 5 rows of chairs left :)
