It looks like the polarizing Platinum Games classic Vanquish is heading to the PSN next week. While there isn't a price set at the moment, the 360's Games on Demand service has it going for $19.99, so expect a similar pricing scheme.

Vanquish is one of the better action games I've played this generation, so you should definitely give it a shot with an open mind. You could probably find it for less than what the PSN is going to charge for it out in the wild, but $19.99 is still a fair price, all things considered. Just be ready to boost...a lot.

If crazy Japanese action games aren't your thing, you can pick up Portal 2 next week instead!

Platinum Games is a studio to admire. Its titles have never been huge sales successes, but the developer's status as a critical darling and a maker of great games, going right back to its Clover Studios roots, cannot be denied.more

It's still tough to believe a fighting game based on the Persona series exists, let alone is any good, but Persona 4 Arena certainly came as a pleasant surprise. Atlus and Arc System Works are two distinctive studios kno...more

Review: Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair

Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc was an intelligent riff on the perils of high school -- you know, if you had thrown a murder mystery in between classes and the principal was a maniacal stuffed animal. Its sequel, Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, takes a beleaguered trope and turns it on its head. This is one "trapped on a desert island" story that takes things to another level entirely.more
