No customizable characters or classes to pick from? That's kind of disappointing. It still looks like a decent game though.
Will this be another somewhat interesting idea executed terribly, like Knight's Contract? Hopefully it's better than that. We shall see.
I won't pass judgment without seeing more. It has potential for sure. But, I had to chuckle a little at the "Die, bloodsucker."

There are a couple fan mods that patch/fix the game extensively, and I'm sure there is a texture pack that boosts their quality somewhere. As for "HD"... uh... just run it in higher resolution? It's PC man, we don't need bullshit "HD" re-releases.

Yup Hunted comes to mind, as well as dungeon siege 3. Both in a bad way. But maybe it'll surprise me later, who knows.
Seems odd to me that they decided the human character to be melee and vampire character to be ranged. It's interesting I suppose, but at the same time, still feels kinda odd.

This sounds like that other critically-panned game...the medieval Gears of War clone...with the one ranged character and one melee character.
How about someone giving us a new Legacy of Kain game instead? Not Soul Reaver (though I do want that) but another game surrounding Kain...
