Vamp has knives: Metal Gear Online 'SCENE' expansion details emerge photo

Get ready for some content, Metal Gear Online faithful. Today, Konami spilled the beans on ‘SCENE.’ It’s hitting the market on March 17 for $9.99. It will also be available as a bundle with the second MGO expansion, ‘MEME,’ for $14.99. Those who pre-order before March 10 will get the above cardboard helmet, perfect for drawing attention to yourself during dull deathmatches.

The biggest draw for ‘SCENE’ is the introduction of Raiden and Vamp into the multiplayer fold. They’re not the traditional solider and are coming equipped with some unconventional, but familiar, stuff. Here’s a short list of the weaponry, the full list (including special actions and items) is available after the break:

Raiden
  • High Frequency Blade
  • Throwing Knives (Raiden and Vamp can perform headshots by throwing knives.)
Vamp
  • Combat Knife
  • Throwing Knife

New outfits, a new codec, and a new game mode will be available with the DLC. I’m still not seeing the option to play as RAY, but I know Konami won’t let me down. Make it happen.

You shouldn't put it off any longer, Champ. This game NEEDS to be played. By everyone, if it were possible.

I'm PUMPED. Also disappointed to not see new weapons available. I SWEAR I saw the chick fighting the dudes in masks holding a SOCOM pistol. Also snake had the patriot at the end...

Maybe they're leaving it for surprizez!? I CAN HAZ SOCOM GUNZ!?

I still think that Destructoid's PS3 community should reinstate Solid Snake Saturdays after SCENE drops, though I think I'm a be a minority here considering Killzone 2's reception.
