Funny story: at E3 this year, I had a chance to play Portal 2 cooperative multiplayer, while Jim (who wrote the preview) just watched a demonstration that I didn't get a chance to see. Isn't that hilarious? I'm here all week; tip your waitress, try the veal.
Where am I going with this? Oh, yeah -- so Jim saw a pretty killer preview of the game in action, and now Valve's nice enough to share it with the world. It will be releasing seven videos this week which will make up the whole of the E3 demo that was shown in Los Angeles a few weeks back. Pretty neat, huh?
I know what your'e saying -- "Seven videos? Really? Can't we just get one big video. This is a ploy for coverage on Valve's part, and I don't like it." But this is Portal 2 we're talking about here, our E3 2010 "Game of the Show." I think once you watch it, you'll realize why Valve had to break it up into seven pieces -- there's just no way you could handle so much awesome in one sitting.

sure after playing SOTC everthing else simply feels... empty, an existential void now fills me with apathy and insatisfaction, but im fine, im fine... GODDAMIT WHEN WILL THEY RELEASE NEW THE LAST GUARDIAN FOOTAGE!?!?!?!
you know it almost SUCKS when you play a game so good it makes everything else look like absolute shit
portal was definitively one of those games and i cant wait for the sequel
this emotion core/comic relief thing, looks good so far, but after the twisted dark humor of portal 1, this looks way too safe
My only complaint would be the way the orb guy is held. I realize it's still the source engine but would it kill you to make some hands grabbing onto it Valve?
