Valve continues to fiddle with and tweak Left 4 Dead 2. The studio released another patch for the game just the other day, addressing a nasty launch bug and that troublesome invincible witch glitch. As explained by Joystiq, the witch glitch in particular sometimes occurs when she’s showered in fire from a Molotov. After the hit, she’ll run around in circles, moaning (doing her witch thing) while being impervious to both bullets and bile. Amazingly enough, she’s tame: she doesn’t try to harm you when she’s bugged. But damn is she annoying.
Valve also addressed that whole “bots would not shoot at Jockeys and Charges while approaching to save a teammate” thing that has had us screaming like the undead when we play without pals. Good to know Valve is still on it, but I suppose we shouldn’t expect less.
