Keep us updated on this one, Jim? I don't have the patience, time, or intelligence to keep up with an ARG, but I'm interested to see the progress and what comes of it.
Could be Left 4 Dead 3 or Team Fortress 3. Yeah, hopefully we'll get Half-Life 3, but everything Valve does is pure gold, so I'm just happy to know we're getting some new stuff.
Portal DLC or it really is Episode 3. But if it is Ep3 then I hope the Portal stuff is kept to a minimum. I don't want to see GLaDOS fighting some Combine Advisers or Gonarch.

Dear Jim, that Gabe Newell email is a confirmed Fake, Newell does not use that type of font or that signature on his emails. Also, that Doug Rattman account is not official, it's not even related to Valve, it belongs to one of the guys who took part on the Portal 2 ARG early this year.

Portal 3, Left 4 Dead 3, Half-Life 3, ANY one of those (if perhaps a hair too soon on the first two) would be fantastic to play! So long as they get their amazing team of genius writers to put in some of that utterly fantastic, quotable dialog in there, we can't lose!
I, kind of play Left 4 Dead for the bits of story and character dialogue more than for it just being a fun game. Does that fact and all this gushing make me a little weird?

I doubt it would be TF3, as TF2 is currently making them a fuckton of cash via Micro trans. They're not going to rock that boat any time soon.
Maybe they'll release all of their 3's at the same time since they missed releasing with all the other 3's this year.
