Sega's PS3 watercolored real-time strategy role-playing game Valkyria Chronicles is coming in November, and they thought you might want to know more about its characters and gameplay before then. You know, to get ready.   

Here we have video on Welkin Gunther, the squad leader, tank commander, and fast food restaurant assistant manager little paper hat-wearing fool. The tanks are pretty badass in Valkyria Chronicles: you can barge through things, or even park them so that your squad mates can take cover behind them. Oh, and you can blow sh*t up with them, too.

Alicia Melchiott is a scout, and apparently also a fan of hats that might be worn in the restaurant service business. She has a rifle, high mobility, cute pigtails, and the ability to check out the battle field before the big guns get there. ARGH!! I completely forgot about this game!! Anyone have some spare time they can lend me?? I don't seem to have enough.

Anyways this game is looking awesome. We haven't had a good RPG from Sega since the Dreamcast days.

If you don't mind spending money on a stupid show, grab the last episode of Qore and get access to the demo.

Alternately, you can bypass the idiocy and pick the same demo up free if you've a European PSN account. Set one up, it won't hurt you.

Dammit, Sony needs to open access to this RIGHT NOW.

One of the few titles that has me paying attention to the PS3...am I a cruel, heartless person to wish that this eventually comes to the 360 and further cripples the former system, to give me even less reason to consider buying it? Probably.

@Bullet - I doubt it because one of the losing condition are if "Welkin or Alicia" dies. Now Paypal me 20 :P

Great game and much needed for the PS3 Library. Demo hits PSN tonight.
