Uwe Boll making ANOTHER BloodRayne movie photo

It's the moment we hoped would never come, but it's been confirmed and now we have to deal with it. The worst thing to come out of Germany since the Third Reich is making another straight-to-DVD BloodRayne movie. Kristanna Loken will return as the titular vampire in Uwe Boll's latest disasterpiece, BloodRayne 3: Warhammer

This will officially mean that BloodRayne now has more movies than it does games. What happens in this situation? Does it mean BloodRayne is now more of a movie franchise than a game? Would any future BloodRayne title (yeah, right) be considered a licensed title? This is a paradox that I don't think we've ever encountered before, and it makes me scared.

It's kind of sad that Uwe Boll now has more to do with BloodRayne than the guys at Terminal Reality who developed it. I actually thought BloodRayne was good in a not-really-great-but-still-oddly-fun way. Maybe one day these movies will make enough money to justify a third game as well as a third film. But probably not.

This is the saddest fact of all time.

Also, I think Matt beat you.

I love Bloodrayne (the first game, not so much the second) but I still haven't seen these movies. Are they really that bad? How do you fuck up Bloodrayne? The formula is simple (Breasts + Leather) Nazi's/Death = Bloodrayne.

I'm behind Xzyllac on this one, Uwe Boll is the enemy of all things video game!

I don't see this thing as bad news, really!
Uwe Boll has a magical ability to get licensing rights and funding for all his crap movies, and it's not looking like he will stop any time soon.
I think it's great that he continues his focus on Bloodrayne, a movie franchise we already know is bad and is to avoid, rather than picking a new victim.
I mean, what if he got to make some new movies about games we actually care more about?

Formula would be simple if you would pick a nice producer for it not like sir Boll.

When i saw the secound movie's trailer i laughed so hard as i've never before. It was like some sort of "Z" western lol... A movie from the games could be kick ass products, but not with the mentality as the previous 2 had.

This is a definite NO GO for me.

"How do you fuck up Bloodrayne?" Uwe Boll, that's how...

I liked the first game as well and I do believe it pioneered extremely ridiculous bewbie physics. Was it made for the big screen? Hell no, certainly not three times.

In Mr. Boll's hands he'll fuck everything up. I saw part of it on cable one night as I was channel surfing. The lighting and acting was just awful, but the lighting is what stood out to me as the worst. It looked like something you'd see a high schooler make with no film making ability, or something I made in my free time. I don't know how the guy gets money to make these things. Even the hotness of Ms. Loken won't be able to save this.

'Kristanna Loken will return' - Nothing says your career has well and truly hit the skids more than a return to an Uwe Boll sequel.

At least Jürgen Prochnow survived House of the Dead by popping up in the new series of 24.

Let's not forget the whatever-the-hell that was on Billy Zane's head.

Not just one return either. Two! That means her career died, resurrected, and was stabbed in the face.

I'll just remember how much I liked Bloodrayne 2, and pretend that game was my last experience with the character. Any other path, leads to madness.

Has anyone seen Uwe Boll's Darfur yet? It's been getting a lot of press around university campus' lately, apparently it's actually alright. The funny thing is that I get the feeling that all of the students groups who are screening the film and presenting it seriously have no idea about Boll's "repertoire".

@Xzyliac: It was a different actress for Bloodrayne 2 apparently. You know, like when it was Robin Williams, then some bad impersonator, then Rob again for the Aladdin movies. Only this time...it's all bad.

I thought the most shameful fall you could have was from Actor to Porn Star.

I was wrong.

If I were Kristanna Loken I would taking up anywhere and everywhere just to avoid Uwe Boll.

I don't really give a shit about Uwe Boll anymore. Yeah, his movies suck and he is a bad peron in general, but if we stop talking about him he'll just go away and die.

Well, the only reason anyone watches Kristanna Loken movies anymore is because there's alway a 90% chance she'll get naked in them. There was that one movie where she wasn't naked. That one...yeah...I don't remember it but I heard about it.

FYI: Xzyliac does not find Kristanna Loken attractive.

Oh how the mighty have fallen. I actually watched the abortion that was the first BloodRayne because I had just played both games(which were fun as hell) and I still to this day cannot believe Herr Boll was able to get OSCAR WINNER Ben Kingsley(The guy played Ghandi FFS!) as well as MEATLOAF! ...Billy Zane. And Kristanna Loken who was just coming off her popular(?) stint in Terminator 3(the ONE movie she wasn't naked in, apparently). It wasn't even worth watching to see her tits. My roomate couldn't even gather the muster to fast forward to the tits part, it was so horrid. Then I heard there was a sequel. And now we have another sequel. And Loken is returning for it?!?! Fuckin' A! She could do hardcore bukkake and have more respect.

Also, FarCry was such a bad movie, it fully went around to 'Good', I recommend you watch it for the lulz.

The story of BloodRayne is so similar to Captain America/Blade that it would make a good movie if done by, say, Zack Snyder but we get Uwe Boll.

Half Human, Half Vampire that fights(like Xmen Origins Wolverine, Captain America, Blade) for the Good Guys against The Bad Guys(whomever they might be) it would make an awesome film but I guess because it(the first game) was set in WW2, Boll(a German) doesn't want to make another (anti)Nazi movie but GOD DAMN if it wouldn't be awesome.

He funds his own films. Thanks to a German tax law(loophole?) And the guy is also German, so they take care of their own, etc. etc.

I guess ole Uwe feels that as long as Michael Bay can continue making films he can. This film should be good for a laugh when it hits SyFy (WTF?) in the next few months.
