It's the moment we hoped would never come, but it's been confirmed and now we have to deal with it. The worst thing to come out of Germany since the Third Reich is making another straight-to-DVD BloodRayne movie. Kristanna Loken will return as the titular vampire in Uwe Boll's latest disasterpiece, BloodRayne 3: Warhammer.
This will officially mean that BloodRayne now has more movies than it does games. What happens in this situation? Does it mean BloodRayne is now more of a movie franchise than a game? Would any future BloodRayne title (yeah, right) be considered a licensed title? This is a paradox that I don't think we've ever encountered before, and it makes me scared.
It's kind of sad that Uwe Boll now has more to do with BloodRayne than the guys at Terminal Reality who developed it. I actually thought BloodRayne was good in a not-really-great-but-still-oddly-fun way. Maybe one day these movies will make enough money to justify a third game as well as a third film. But probably not.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
This is the saddest fact of all time.
Also, I think Matt beat you.
Uwe Boll has a magical ability to get licensing rights and funding for all his crap movies, and it's not looking like he will stop any time soon.
I think it's great that he continues his focus on Bloodrayne, a movie franchise we already know is bad and is to avoid, rather than picking a new victim.
I mean, what if he got to make some new movies about games we actually care more about?
When i saw the secound movie's trailer i laughed so hard as i've never before. It was like some sort of "Z" western lol... A movie from the games could be kick ass products, but not with the mentality as the previous 2 had.
This is a definite NO GO for me.
I liked the first game as well and I do believe it pioneered extremely ridiculous bewbie physics. Was it made for the big screen? Hell no, certainly not three times.
In Mr. Boll's hands he'll fuck everything up. I saw part of it on cable one night as I was channel surfing. The lighting and acting was just awful, but the lighting is what stood out to me as the worst. It looked like something you'd see a high schooler make with no film making ability, or something I made in my free time. I don't know how the guy gets money to make these things. Even the hotness of Ms. Loken won't be able to save this.
At least Jürgen Prochnow survived House of the Dead by popping up in the new series of 24.
Let's not forget the whatever-the-hell that was on Billy Zane's head.
Not just one return either. Two! That means her career died, resurrected, and was stabbed in the face.
I thought the most shameful fall you could have was from Actor to Porn Star.
I was wrong.
If I were Kristanna Loken I would taking up anywhere and everywhere just to avoid Uwe Boll.
My b.
@GodenGamerXero
Well, the only reason anyone watches Kristanna Loken movies anymore is because there's alway a 90% chance she'll get naked in them. There was that one movie where she wasn't naked. That one...yeah...I don't remember it but I heard about it.
FYI: Xzyliac does not find Kristanna Loken attractive.
big pic, easy read
Also, FarCry was such a bad movie, it fully went around to 'Good', I recommend you watch it for the lulz.
Becase Uwe doesn't make films, he makes German tax shelters.
Half Human, Half Vampire that fights(like Xmen Origins Wolverine, Captain America, Blade) for the Good Guys against The Bad Guys(whomever they might be) it would make an awesome film but I guess because it(the first game) was set in WW2, Boll(a German) doesn't want to make another (anti)Nazi movie but GOD DAMN if it wouldn't be awesome.
SOMEONE STOP THIS MAN!!!.
Spielberg himself has asked him to stop but he just... wont.
