Wanna start your Friday feeling depressed?

In My Girl (from Soda Drinker Pro and Vivian Clark creator Will Brierly) you play as Thomas J in a coming-of-age story that's... well, I'm sure you've seen the 1991 movie. In this game you are Macaulay Culkin's character. So you know what happens. Spoiler: It's bummertime. Even the MIDI version of the song "My Girl" adds to the bummer vibe. You can play My Girl right here.   more

Have you played Rhythm Doctor?

How have I missed Rhythm Doctor? We gave it a brief mention last year, but I guess I missed that. The first I heard of it was last week at GDC. Walking past the IGF booth, I saw a guy with headphones on, bobbing his head while mashing a huge button. Curious, I walked over. I saw an on-screen cardiograph and a little samurai bobbing its little head. I was hooked from there.    more

Making multiplayer music in Fantasia: Music Evolved

Harmonix revealed a multiplayer mode for Fantasia: Music Evolved at GDC last week alongside some new songs and levels. I jumped in front of a Kinect sensor to try out the new mode, and it wasn't long before I was flapping my arms to the beat.  Can't you hear that boom, badoom, boom, boom, badoom, boom, bass?       more

Sony's eye tracking technology will be a game changer
