This is probably how that Peace Walker dev conversation went

Some time ago, in a conference room at Kojima Productions... Konami Rep: Hello, Kojima-san! Hideo Kojima: Hello, person from Konami! Konami Rep: So, how is the new Metal Gear game going? Hideo Kojima: Oh, it's going gre...   0

Damn you, Jeff Gerstmann! And you too, Star Trek Online!

Surely you wonder why I wish the wrath of a thousand suns upon Mr. Gerstmann. I first direct you to this piece. It's short, read it through. If you like, you may also visit Giant Bomb's "Set Phasers to Fun" video series. Now...   0

Oh hay, I wrote about a Macross game

As above, pretty much. I had been planning to do this for months on end since I watched Macross Frontier, but things didn't really pan out. Suffice it to say, it's awesome and you should go to Japanator and see it. Unfortu...   0

This came in the mail today

*squee* And alongside Bayonetta PS3 to boot. I'll be damned if it doesn't feel good to buy stuff with money you didn't know you had. Apologies for the crap picture quality/lighting. My camera sucks. If we scale her to m...   0

Sakura Wars is a localization hydra

I put this up on Japanator this morning, but since some of you don't go there >:(, I figured it was my duty as Dtoid's resident Sakura Wars fanboy to put it here, too. *Plus, I haven't posted in a while so hey, why not. ...   0

Unseemingly Scripted: Why Uncharted 2 is a triumph of "Cinematic Gameplay"

I was lucky enough to score an early copy of the game at the recent big-screen-demo event, and after pulling a marathon run through of Uncharted 1 and proceeding straight into the sequel from there, I noticed just what the ga...   0

Even Segata Sanshiro Likes Sakura Wars (shortblog)

I was thinking of putting this video up as the header for my Sakura Wars piece, but couldn't find a good link until now. Also, I was being indecisive about whether or not it would torpedo the whole affair, so I let time run o...   0

If you want Metal Wolf Chaos over here, but don't want this, you are a hypocrite and a fool (shortblog)

As posted on Japanator. Because sure as hell I know you don't want Metal Wolf Chaos for its quality gameplay. Trust me on that, I've played it. You want it for THIS:   0

Here's the last Persona 3 Drama CD animation (shortblog)

Back in February I ran a SO RONERY P3 FEStival and showcased the work of a certain Segami Daisuke, one of the best Aegis-obsessed fan artists around. He was animating the tracks from one of the Persona 3 Drama CDs, namely the...   0

An open apology to those who TL;DR'd on my eroge piece

I had originally intended for this to be the introduction to my next eroge-related writeup, but I laughed and facepalmed when I realized that it in and of itself used up my ideal word count. I recently posted a (very) leng...   0

It's my birthday, so here is a Persona-related image dump...

In other news: Valkyria Chronicles 2 screens, my comments

Siliconera coughed these up, and it's not much that I can decipher with my limited moonspeaking skills, but there's some intriguing new work out: Ohho, looks familiar, eh? Multiple vehicle types, and it says that this thi...   0

Oh hay, I guess I'm buying Play Magazine this month

Actually, I'm really just testing the new blog size, but you should read what I wrote anyway, because there is a giant cheesecake gallery attached to it. Chun-Li is now deposed as the queen of delicious thighs.   0

Oh hay guys, it's the Valkyria Chronicles 2 commercial (I-hope-I'm-not-late-blog)

It's 15 seconds long, and the most it offers is some animooted cutscene pics. Also a girl in a hood who is obviously the new and decidedly flat Valkyria. In lieu of providing substantive content, I offer a picture of the ...   0

With God as my witness I will make this video somehow games-related

Work Unsafe This is just one of the many reasons you should be bringing traffic to Japanator, but since you're here, I'll make it games-related... Here goes.... ....drawing a blank.... ...must...think...of something! AHA! The character driving the steamroller, Kagamine Rin, is a Vocaloid, which has a PSP game, Project Diva, which Phoenix Gamma and Garison seem to like: So there.   0

Oh hay guys, it's the P3 Portable intro...I think (shortblog)

Noticed this while doing what I usually do for 18 hours a day. For some reason the music strikes me as "different." Maybe Shoji Meguro is busy producing Persona 5. As always Gen Eric Gui's comments apply (dampening my enthus...   0

The Monster Hunter 3 trailers are out, have lotsa monsters, implied hunting (shortblog)

It's just a week from the game's Japanese launch and I really want to play. I like Freedom Unite, I really do, but Monster Hunter's greatest weakness outside of Glorious Nippon has been the fact that the PSP is NOT ubiquitous...   0

In other news, MegaTen: Strange Journey is a DS game

Which is just eff'n great. I just don't have enough f'n DS cartridges to lug around. I'm sounding ungrateful here, but I was hoping that Strange Journey would be a home console title, for the Wii perhaps. Especially a Wii ti...   0

I can't take it anymore! Persona 5 might be on PS3!

I saw this earlier while trawling for news to post on Jtor, but I didn't want to go "SQUEEE OMG" for as long as possible, lest my hopes get up. But I can't take it anymore! *SQUEEE OMG HOPES UP* Persona 5 might be coming o...   0

Subs win! Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble is the title

I asked some of you earlier to choose Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble over the other super-generic names to give to Atlus' new PSP game. Some of you didn't, for various reasons. I forgive you. But fans of having a subtitle stil...   0

In other news, Dead Fantasy III is out

And it looks ridiculously awesome: Think what you will of Monty Oum and crew's work, but there's no question that they are experts in producing weapons-grade fanservice. For the record, I don't see what's so horrible abou...   0

Hey guys, choose "Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble" for Atlus' new game (shortblog)

Atlus is bringing over Kenka Banchou, and wants you to name it. You will name it Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble. Alternatively, you may just choose Badass Rumble, but that name is way too generic. We all know what happened to Tokyo Beat Down. It's the animu crowd that buys Atlus games, so having a slightly animu name will help get their attention. DO IT. DO IT NOW. Banchou's orders.   0

And Your Little Friends, Too: The Overlord II Review

Tragedy Alert: Eroge are OVER

If you've seen my C-Blog's header image, you might have noticed that the title says "Death by Eroge." It's a joke on how I'd like to die in a way somehow related to H-games. I'm thinking that that may never happen anymore...   0
