About
My first console was the masterpiece of the Colecovision... Love that tank game that inspired Scorched Earth! Soon, Duck Hunt & Mario followed suit with the NES. But, my favourite console would have to go to the SNES, which inspired my fanboy fights with my Sega friends. I have much love for my PS2 though, especially considering I paid more for it than the PS3 costs today...
I'm a ginormous fan of RPG's & Platformer's, so any game that has both is considered bought. (May be why I'm playing Zelda - TP?)
My favourite games that gave me the best experience for my money... I'll name a few for now and I think I'll list it in chronological order (in the order that I played them anyway).

-Illusion of Gaia (SNES)... I love the fact the main characters all have different coloured words when they talk AND the pitch of the letters appearing are all different for each person. I wish new games would implement both those elements!
-Super Metroid (SNES)... No game has freightened me as much as this... well the music on the way to Mother Brain anyways.
-Secret of Evermore (SNES)... This game actually inspired me to create my very own board game based & revolving around the item collecting and mixing... Too bad it's the only thing I left in the house when I moved!!! (Could have been a millionaire by now)
-Chrono Trigger (SNES)... I've never been more obsessed with a game in my life inspiring the most doodling ever.
-Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars (SNES)... oh how I love thee nostalgia...
[b]-Medievil (PS1)...</b> My first Playstation game. The music is top notch for setting the mood in the game's atmosphere.
-The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64)... pure awesomness x2
-The Legend of Dragoon (PS1)... I love this game for the fact that it was one of the first RPG's to give me a hard time (as in always dying, at least on certain bosses) and sweat repeatedly.
-Chrono Cross (PS1)... I too was expecting more from my Chrono-Trigger-sequel experience... Though, what I stumbled upon happened to be an enveloping adventure on it's own. If it had a different soundtrack I might think differently.
-Final Fantasy IX (PS1)... Excellent mix of everything to like in an RPG.
-Final Fantasy X (PS2)... This is my favourite game of EVER. There's nothing I disliked about it. From the characters to the colours, the scenery, the music... even the linear gameplay haha. In fact, this is the game I replayed the most out of all my games.
-Star Ocean: Till the End of Time (PS2)... An overall great experience, especially in the item creation category.
-God of War (PS2)... One of my favourite games to play on the hardest difficulty & not get frustrated.
-Final Fantasy XII (PS2)... I'm not a fan of MMO's, but I love the ability to go almost anywhere and collect the best items as early as possible. A great way to burn hours away... like say 800... ahahaha... *sigh*
-Lost Odyssey (Xbox 360)... I often miss playing this game and have urges to play it again every so often... Even though I've beaten it twice.
