Unwrap Banjo-Kazooie 3 this Christmas photo

You already know about the appearance of a mysterious teaser site, but now Rare has confirmed that Banjo-Kazooie 3 (oh, please call it Banjo-Threeie) will be released for the Xbox 360 in time for the upcoming 2008 holiday season.

It seems that a lot of people are ashamed to admit that they are ridiculously excited for this game. I don’t understand that. I am not ashamed at all. I am ridiculously excited for this game. There, I said it. The first two Nintendo 64 games were solid platforming experiences and two of my favorite games on the console. So, yeah, I can’t wait.

What do you think? Will you proudly stand up with me and express your undying love for all things bear and bird? Are you stoked the game is coming out this year?

why Does Gruntys Christmas stocking hang on Banjo and Kazooie's fireplase? =P And why does she deserve a stocking at all? Oh, Rare..

Hell yeah, I want it too! I was the only person I knew crazy enough to go out and get every single Jiggy, Musical Note and Honeycomb piece (and everything else in there). And that was before there were achievements to prove it. And they were on rentals, so I had no lasting record of my accomplishments!

I loved the first game!! I never quite got through Tooie or Grunty's Revenge, though I was near the end of GR. I guess now's as good a time as ever to beat them!

And I have ALWAYS said that the reasons I bought my 360 were for the Rare, Team Ninja, and Mistwalker support. I have (and love) Bioshock and Mass Effect, but if the former three companies weren't 360 exclusive, I'd never have bought a 360 at all. So yes, I am super excited for Banjo 3!

I'm still never played this series. I promise to give this one a shot though.

Next to the original Marios and mario 64, Banjo Kazooie is my favorite platformer of all time. The tight controls, awesome level design, superb sound and soundtrack...it's just aces. And the second game topped the first in every regard.

I can't WAIT for 3.

holy jesus! Banjo Kazooie was like, one of the first games I got on my N64. This is actually a pretty big nerd-gasm moment.
