What the hell is the point of a Drum specific game when you can just play drums guitar hero world tour? Kinda of a stupid question with a painfully obvious answer... you probably ask the same thing to most of the guitar hero sequels...
I'm guessing the cost of pumping out a ___ hero game gets smaller every time. Especially if it uses the same peripherals.
Activision should trademark Pornstar Heroes: A game where you hump accordingly to the sound of girls moaning.
When you can't make a superior product, I guess you over-saturate the market. Activision is clearly running by EA's playbook for last gen, but then EA discarded it for a reason.
My guess is that it's still a full-band game, but the song selection focuses on stuff that is cool/difficult to play on drums.
What could a game called Drum Hero possibly bring to the table that Guitar Hero doesn't already?

I'm guessing the focus will be on really good drum songs, and possibly some songs which have had 2 drummers even though I can't think of any at the top of my head.
I think Guitar Hero has more guitar oriented songs, so Drum Hero could me more about percussion plus famous drummers.
I can't wait for to see the premium drum peripheral that you'll need for the game, which will cost $120 and have 9 pads.
