Unstoppable Gorg priced and dated for PC, Mac, and iPad

Futuremark's Unstoppable Gorg, one of three new games by the company best known for their benchmarking tool 3DMark and Shattered Horizon, will be available for Steam and iPad on January 19. The Steam version is a Steam Play title, meaning you can play it on a Mac if you want to, and is priced at $9.99. The iPad version will go for $4.99.

The twist in this space tower defense title is that you place towers on orbits and then rotate these orbits to match the towers' fire coverage with different waves of alien invaders. It looks like something that would work well on an iPad, unless a rogue scientist's experiments gave you gigantic deformed fingers that obscure half the screenspace. The planned Xbox Live Arcade version will arrive a bit later, in the first half of 2012.
