It's too bad about Lost Planet 2 being such a completely awful game it's actually impossible to enjoy, even with friends. It's not even bad in an entertaining way, the game literally feels like I'm doing nothing. I start playing it and time just goes by and I feel like absolutely nothing has happened. It's a shame because the first game was pretty fun.

I miss entering codes...there was always that sense of awesome one felt after receiving confirmation from successfully entering a code.

I feel no sense of awesome as I watch my dollars trickle away ;__;

I'm failing to see the point of this argument here. Any real fan of the series knows that it's an acquired taste. The first game was notoriously difficult for most casual players so much that the online community stayed rather small. LP2 basically being the same core game I wasn't it expecting it to bring new people into the series. Capcom further reinforces that statement regarding difficulty with the recent release of an update making the game easier after reviews basically tore it up claiming it was unplayable. As far as I'm concerned, "If you didn't like the first one you won't like the second." is what I tell most people when they ask me about it. Am I a fan of the game? You bet. Am I looking forward to DLC. Hell yeah. Am I surprised most people I recommend it refuse to touch it. Not in the least bit. How, after all this time, it still surprises you is honestly dumbfounding.
