The environment, stealth gameplay and feeling like a fight is going on around you makes me think of Metal Gear Solid 4. A lot. The combat itself appears to be more of the same, however. I really do hope it's a little improved from the slightly awkward original, but so far it seems identical.
Still, it's visually gorgeous and the setpieces are rather impressive. Hit the jump to watch the whole thing and let us know what you think.

That was really great looking. I still love how your clothes actually appear wet and then dry in the sun after you get wet. I don't remember if the first game was like that, though I believe it was.
It must be popular for third person shooters to utilize some sort of hiding cover mechanics. Although the enemy doesn't seem to utilize cover. I did like the hand to hand combat thing. That was pretty interesting. Although I would prefer if the game setting was back in a jungle.
actually enemies do take cover. At least they did in the first game. I didn't think the 1st game was awkward at all. Its still one of my favorite single player experiences this gen. I don't know what they could improve on from the first game. Maybe make the game a bit longer? It definitely does not need to breakaway from the shooting/platforming elements.
Demtor: You're playing on the wrong region system, bro. The blood is censored out based on the region of the PS3 that is playing it. I'm assuming you've got a PAL release and they went for the lower rating there as they did in Japan. If you play any version of the game on a North American PS3 it will have blood in it, though.
