We heard yesterday about the next few add-ons for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, one of which caught my eye. Yes, it was the one that introduced characters from other first-party games. How'd you guess? Now, we have screenshots of this new content, and are no longer forced to use our imaginations.
Unlike the Star Wars characters in Soulcalibur IV, I think this cross-promotion actually works without coming off as too insane. Ridiculous? Yes. But in a good way. The "PlayStation Heroes Skin Pack" contains Sev, a Helghast soldier, Nathan Hale, a Chimera, good Cole, evil Cole, and Zeke for use in multiplayer.
That'll be happening on January 28 at a typical $4.99 price point. On the same day, a single-player demo for Uncharted 2 will be appearing on PlayStation Network as well. It seems like some of you were left feeling iffy after the first game, so here's your chance to see if the sequel is more your style.

No Solid/Old Snake? At all?

The game would separate the teams as such:

I might seem exaggerated, but this is literally what would happen, and in a game where levels matter, it was unplayable.

Oh and yes, there was a patch.
Zeke is a fat guy from infamous. I'd say he was a supporting character, but even Cole, the main character, ends up hating him. Also, where the writing in that game is nowhere near terrible, Zeke has some of the most awful lines of dialogue ever uttered in a game. For instance, when he falls into a river he remarks that "I aint no Michael Phelps" *shudders*
Yesterday Naughty Dog said on their Twitter account that the leaked details were inaccurate. And also if you click on the link to read the actual PS Blog post you will see Naughty Dog's explanation of the information leak.
The people at Naughty Dog do a wonderful job responding to the community and actually explaining information instead of just ignoring issues.
I'm curious to know whether or not the voicework will be different. That's the only thing that could make me buy it, if we got some new voice acting to go along with those skins.

I guess it doesn't matter as much as other things, and I could hold my own at level 18 or so, but being grouped with new guys against veterans of the game was purely unfun.
No! Make it free! I shouldn't have to pay for extra stuff, because I deserve it! Bitch bitch bitch. Whine whine whine.
Anyway, I hope this is really successful and Sony and Naughty Dog make many more of these PlayStation Skin Packs!
