It's been a slow sales week in the UK, but that hasn't stopped Wii Fit from enjoying its billionth week at the top of the charts. That's right, everyone's favorite non-game is still going strong, delighting housewife fans who previously had nothing to do between watching The Wright Stuff and flicking themselves off over Ben Shepherd.
It won't shock you to learn that the rest of the chart is, as David Byrne would say, the same as it ever was. More FIFA, more Call of Duty, more Mario & Sonic. It's gotten to the point where I can now no longer remember a world before these three games existed. It's like Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games has been around before I was even born.
Hit the jump for the full chart. It's disappointment flavored!

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
Surely everyone in England has a copy now?
It boggles the mind
People are still buying Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games.. crazy.
What I can't believe is that anyone is still buying GTA4..
And no! I don't own Hanna Montana; I only rented it...
just kidding though.
Wii Fit isn't a game.
Step outside Sir, we are about to duel.
Millions are still awaiting their pre-orders. My local game shop, when my mum wanted one, was like "we get an order a week, about 12/13 on a Tuesday, so you want to pre-order one and then just turn up on a Tuesday and hope there's one left"
WTF?!
killzone came out, all the "Gamers" well the Ps3 Gamers, bought it on launch, job done. However this new bloody race of "Casual Gamers" don't know release dates, aren't waiting for games, just turn up at the shop now and then and pick up some of these wanky titles.
