UK Charts: Sims still winning, Prototype > inFAMOUS photo

This week's UK Charts sees The Sims 3 still pumping that mainstream demographic for all it's worth, with EA's latest in the popular franchise remaining on top of the pile. Meanwhile, Prototype has proven its superiority over inFAMOUS by debuting at number 2 in the charts, something that the Sony exclusive never did. Further proof that Prototype is blatantly better than inFAMOUS!

There is nothing much else in the list that'll surprise you this week. Wii Fit, World at War and EA Sports Active are all in attendance. However, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games and Carnival: Funfair Games have finally buggered off and left us alone, so that's something.

The real tragedy is that Terminator Salvation is even on the list. I rented that game for the easy trophies, and it. Is. Terrible.

inFamous is better that it's got less replay value, worse gameplay, worse story, terrible voice acting *cough*Zeke*cough* but better graphics.

So yeah, in the eyes of reviewers, it's better.

I think destructoid should get another Reviews editor, one for xbox related items (Jim) and one for PS3 related items, since the xbox is blatantly better at everything, according to Jim, I would love to hear different opinions from the staff.

Otherwise at some point Jim's reviews will just be "It is on Xbox, what else do I need to say?" or "It is a Sony game, it is not on xbox so it sucks."

BTW "Anybody else is blatantly better than Jim Sterling."

So true. The review score (9.5 out of 10) Jim gave Killzone 2 (given the Editor's Choice award) was obviously a result of him being a blatant Xbox 360 fanboy.

So by that logical Wii Sports, the Sims, and WoW are the best games ever created and put games like Halo and Gears of War to shame which are clearly much much worse than the top best 3 ever created.... right? Infamous is better in every way than Prototype and there's nothing you can do about it so shove it up your pussy and take it like the twit you are!

Let me explain why he did it. Although, the humorous fanboy replies might significantly be reduced. Sorry in advance, everyone.

He did this, and the other article, to spoof fanboys like you. inFAMOUS is exclusive to the PS3, so PS3 fanboys comment about Prototype sucking. Prototype is multi Platform, so 360 fanboys, build it up and say it's better than inFAMOUS.

He's lampooning idjits like you. Get it now?

@Jim Please do an "inFAMOUS is better than Prototype" article, so we can fully see the other side to all this. lol

I am a ps3 fan, but I am feeling disgust at the ps3 fanboys. e.g. At N4G, anybody saying anything that is remotely positive about Xbox360 gets "disagree"s, by the bunch. Some ps3 owners simply became radicalized, attacking any negative view like rabid dogs. This also radicalizes some xbox360 owners. It is now a vicious circle..

seriously the infamous prototype argument is lame, they are 2 different games, protype will sell more because the ps3 has a smaller install base so even if every ps3 owner bought it it would be hard to top a large multi platform release

I would love to have a boss that stands behind me and support me in every way(:P), I saw that review, 9.5 impressive, all I have to say is that:

1) He did not have a choice, because we all know what happens when you score poorly a game with some important ppl behind it. ((Kane and Lynch))

2) He's got a big check for writing that review.

(And I hope is the second!!)

LOL... I simply could not slap my inner PS3Fanboy yesterday, it was all sarcarm, your article is great, although it flushed a lot of PS3 fanboys, I just took the another level. Ah, and the link at the end was a curve ball, unsubstantiated proof that "You" Hate PS3.
