Mafia II is enjoying its third week at the top of the UK Charts, which is somewhat surprising given the fact that so many gamers felt tepid towards it. Still, if these charts are good for one thing, it's reminding the gaming community that our opinions on titles rarely reflect the sales.
Tetris Party Deluxe, Spider-Man: Shattered Memories, Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep and R.U.S.E all debut in the top ten this week, making for a chart that is a bit more interesting than usual. How nice. Read below for the full listing!

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
Shocked to see a PSP game in the top 10, even one that is as good as Kingdom Hearts.
*sigh*
She wore a Burberry beret, the kind you find in a Primark store, A burberry beret, I think I love her.
Thank you.
I'm loving it myself.
Hey Primark does some quality shit....
BAD GAMING PUBLIC, BAD!
I really really liked Mafia2. K&L on the other hand. I want my 4 hours of constant frustration back!
I prefer George myself. Or more accurately, the wife does.
Yeah, but can you actually do anything when you're free roaming? Or just roam.
I suspect just roaming without any proper side missions could become tiresome quite quickly.
I will literally send you my copy for free if you want it.
Well it's either spend £30 on a t shirt from Topman or get a fairly new Xbox game.
i know its you doing it all the time Jim. but why only the UK? and every week is kinda stupid, since just about every new "good" game that comes out every week seems to shoot to number 1 on these charts anyway.
The UK with ELSPA and ChartTrack is the only region that releases weekly charts for free. Japan's Mediacreate does them for subscribers I believe (Crecente and Bashcraft's Palace of Underage Love post them I think) but the US's NPD only does monthly charts.
I'd quite like my copy of Kingdom Hearts, Play still haven't delivered my copy even though I had it preordered back in June.
