Really, what else would be topping the chart during Final Fantasy XIII launch week? We are still playing that behemoth for our review but it appears we're almost over. Hopefully that'll be coming very soon, as soon as we stop grinding for delicious CP. Boy, could that last sentence be taken out of context ...
Anyway, Bad Company 2 takes second place, followed inexplicably by Just Dance. Heavy Rain is still making an impressive effort, hanging in at number four. The rest of the chart is nothing you haven't seen before, except for a number fourteen debut for Dawn of War II: Chaos Rising.

BTW, dice should handle the vip code thing better. That lock to EA account is not good.
Suppose it turns out that limiting your game to the cheap console doesn't work as well in the UK as it does in the USA.
Maybe if that Cunt-ry didn't spend so much money invading less fortunate Countries and preparing for global conquest it's population would be able to buy proper consoles, rather than settle for the Xfail360.

To be honest, even my Xbox fanboy buddies, I don't think a single one of them has shown the slightest bit of interest in Mass Effect 2.
As far as my circle of friends goes, Xbox players love themselves some Call of Duty and not a whole lot else, one of which has both PS3 and Xbox, and is certain that Modern Warfail 2 "looks" better on Xbox.
My opinion is: Who gives two fucks which version of a shit game looks better? I'm too busy playing MAG and Bad Company 2 to give even half a shit.
Seriously though, i see my friends list on PS3 playing White knight cronicles, Heavy Rain, Bad Company, MAG, Demon's Souls etc - a good selection of interesting games.
My Xbox owning friends are ALL still playing Modern Warfail 2, one of them stopped breifly to play FF13, but is disapointed with it apparently.

I'm not hating on Mass Effect 2, I think it looks pretty damn cool, and suggested my Xbox buddy check it out recently. sure, I wouldn't buy a 360 to play it, but I would certainly get it if it was on PS3 or if i had a game-able PC.

both are 3rd person cover based shooters. 1 with rpg elements. 1 with widely praised and innovative gameplay and graphics. How is one more overhyped than the other. I can at least say I loved them both. U2 just goes above and beyond in scope and cinematics. You said SC sounded like a hater. Take a look in the mirror. Do you own a ps3??? Serious question.
