Yeah ... in a country that treats soccer like an organized religion, don't expect to see FIFA 10 leave the top spot anytime soon. Yes, once again it's time for the UK Charts, and once again it's a naked portrayal of what the British public appreciates. Amazingly, Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising is in the second slot. I have no idea what that game has done to look appealing to anybody.
Otherwise, your usual dose of racing games, sports game and Professor Layton are all hanging out in the chart this week. Please feel free to hit the jump and read the whole thing, although let's be honest, you're just here for the weekly picture of an idiotic Brit.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
seriously, what the fuck, Britain?
when I looked through my own post I noticed the header image as well and remembered that it was there as well. I guess my NERD RAGE was enough to make me ignore it. good find as usual anyway, Jim. :P
In my opinion they should just wait for Bad Company 2. But hey.

I know RPGs usually aren't popular in the UK but WTF?
Not that there is anything wrong with playing sports games.
I've said this before, but you can't justify saying our country makes crappy purchasing decisions with nothing to compare it to. Jim seems to post the UK charts because he hates it.
It's all about the lament that "Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes" was made, that people bought it, and that enough people bought it to get it to No 15 in the UK charts.
you gotta love the variety of genres in that list.
nothing against soccer games they are fun to play with friends
