Empire: Total War claims the top spot this week, knocking Killzone down a peg after last week's short-lived triumph. The strategy game from Sega seems to be just too tempting for Britain's chavs and skinheads, leaving the PS3 FPS to enjoy a spot at number two.
Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X debuts at number four, but that's the only new entry in a sea of familiar faces. Wii Fit, Professor Layton and FIFA 09 all make their regular appearances, while Halo Wars slips from two to five. Call of Duty: World at War is still hanging on in the top ten at number nine. Nothing really interesting happening.
Hit the jump for the full UK charts. Because about three of you care.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
I don't hold much hope about it though.
I kinda' like these "charts" articles that you do, but I have two quick questions: first, which charts are you reporting on? I'm assuming it's a UK based sales analyst firm.
Second, why don't we have this feature for any of the other territories of the world? (I'm thinking US, personally...)
I'm the opposite of how you've done it, I got the US Disgaea 3 and have a P4 coming for release day.
I think the sales are going to be affected by the fact that Persona and Shin Megami Tensei aren't at the forefront of the market here.
Even Dragon Quest doesn't do great over here. Disgaea 3 and Persona 4 are being published Square-Enix , I'm glad they know quality when they see it.
@CountingConflict
That's a chav.
Question 1: The chart information is collected by Chart Track, which is run by videogame rep ELSPA.
Question 2: I mostly do the UK ones simply because I come from the UK, and it gives me an excuse to post chav pics. I also am very lazy and can't be bothered to find a US chart listing.
That and the fact we did it in real life and can't move on from our Past Victories.
The best policy.
Also, is number 9 a typo or is Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare really coming in twice, just to rub it in the face of Waorld at War?
no wait, we're talking about NoE here. nvm. :(
Either way, they're taking far too long to bring the sequels over. It's almost going on 2 years now since Professor Layton 2's release.
Sidenote: Almost no charts count digital distribution purchases. The sales on this game may have been quite higher than even this indicates....
my.opera.com
but thats vaguely good news maybe?
