hmm, whenever i saw Pride fights on TV it's always guys in very tight rubber panties hugging each other for 3/4 of entire match so, no thank you.

sweet! pride fighting mode... might i add when you say kicks straight to the head this means even if the opponent is lying on the mat... like you can stomp him or kick him in the face while hes on his knees trying to get up... gnarly
Can not wait. As an amerteur fighter myself I love to play some mma videogames:) I loved the first UFC. Hated the second. Kinda enjoyed EA MMA. Watched a video for supremacy. Looks retarded:)

This sounds more like the sequel we were all looking for. The additional weight classes should fill in the roster nicely.
Also, Pride mode sounds cool, but we'll see how they integrate the rules of the ring. I expect to see people falling out of the ring when grappling too close to the ropes.

@manasteel88 it would be cool if there was more to the Pride fighting mode than a different background and soccer kicks/head stomps (not that kicking someone's head like a soccer ball isn't great).
I hope the ropes don't act like some sort of invisible force field and you actually have to have the ref reset the action if you get too close to the ropes.
A better career mode would be nice too.

The career mode in the 2nd game was a god awful mess:) EA MMA's career mode was decent. Even though I can't stand Bas Reutten:)

The submissions were fucking dreadful to pull off on the last one. MMA was okay, but I'm excited about this.
