Ubisoft trademarks Ghost Recon Future Soldier photo

Perhaps not happy with Ghost Recon Predator -- a title previously outed by the OFLC -- Ubisoft has been doing some trademarking in its spare time.

Its newest trademark acquisition is for a Ghost Recon Future Soldier. To Wikipedia!

Future Soldier is the overall name given to a multi-nation military project by the United States and its allies launched in the late 1990s. Future Soldier is also name of the major international military exhibition for NATO and Partnership for Peace members.

What's unclear is if both Predator and Future Soldier are titles in-development with Ubisoft, or if it's just two names for the same product. I mean, how many Ghost Recon games could Ubisoft possibly be working on? Well, considering the publisher released one a year from its 2001 debut through 2007, my guess is a lot. A lot of Ghost Recons.

What the world needs is a great Robocop game, and it needs it now.

I never understood what people liked about the Robocop movies.
They just seemed like a really, really bad series of D-movies.

I think Ghost Recon is a pretty cool guy. eh kills mexicans and doesn't afraid of anything.

GRAW was the reason I got a 360, so I'm excited. I doubt it will be that great, though.

GRAW was also one of the main reasons I got my 360 (along with Dead or Alive), and GRAW 2 is still the best next-gen shooter, IMO. More GRAW = good.

Can't wait for some more GRAW action, even for doing a Horde like mode long before even Gears of War or Halo ODST. GRAW is also the reason I got my 360 (along with Dead Rising).

It should be interesting to see how the games will change, since GRAW2, and other 3rd person games that have been out since. Will it keep its realism or sacrifice it for the road taken by other games.

That's because you need to force yourself to forget the existence of Robocop 3 and all of the Direct-To-DVD stuff that followed it. Robocop (and to an extent Robocop 2) is action/sci-fi gold.

I can't wait for this game to come out. It will be better than the stupid games I've been playing lately. Instead of going to work selling cheap auto insurance I can stay home and play this.
