Ubisoft to release a new Driver game in '10, also Rabbids photo

In their financials update release today, Ubisoft teased with a few interesting updates to some of their franchises. The one I'm most looking forward to? Driver. Driver was my jam. Was. It has been run down in subsequent releases, though. I'd like to see a revival. I was glad to see that the original was revived for an iPhone game recently, but I'm really wanting an all-new game. I'd bet we see it in action at E3.

Also coming is Raving Rabbids 4, which I think we already kind of knew and even before that expected. I wonder if they're debating the release, though. The same press release that mentioned these new titles also talked about how casual sales are expected to drop even more.

I thought the Rabbids went home. Ubi Soft needs to keep it that way.

Driver: Parallel Lines was a really good game (shock!) let down by a mistimed release date at the end of the previous generation console's lifespans and very little marketing. The driving mechanics and the on foot controls were greatly improved from the admittedly piss-poor Driv3r.

Excuse me Ubisoft but could you please get rid of the rabbids and give me back my f*king Rayman? Please and thank you.

I liked Driver: Parallel Lines. It wasn't amazing, but it was solid game with a neat timeline twist. Shame it had to live in the shadow of Driv3r. They need to go back to the 70's and stay there this time around.

I liked Parallel Lines as well.

Just as I'm always ready to get heartbroken by Sega and Sonic I'm always open to get heartbroken by Atari (or Ubisoft) and Driver.

So, I take it Rabbids Go Home did not meet Ubisoft's expectations.

What happened to Rayman anyway? Poor bastard was pushed out of his own series by a gimmick dressed as a disturbing gimmicky bunny that stopped being funny in any form after 10-20 minutes.

I loved Driver. Until Driv3r did the equivalent of shitting its own pants in public so nobody wanted to be around it ever again.

I love rabbids, what's wrong with all of you?

I'd admit that they're reducing the quality of the games since it seems raving rabbids 1 was the best and they got progressively less fun.

I'm just hoping they're breaking the trend with 4.

Fourth, the words at the end of the Phaistos disk seem to be shorter than those at the outset, which would match the pattern found in various Ural-Altaic languages where the terminal words are frequently verbs of being or doing following longer participial and gerundive constructions.
