Ubisoft to deliver Ubidays video coverage through Uplay.com photo

How would you like to go to Paris' world-famous Louvre museum and check out the new Prince of Persia, or Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway? Well, you can't -- sorry, pal.

Ubisoft are providing the next best thing, giving gamers the opportunity to watch the event live at their video portal, Uplay.com. The site currently features a handful of teasers trailers for games like Far Cry 2, the new Raving Rabbids title, and more. But on Wednesday, May 28 (7 PM Paris time), the opening conference will be broadcast live, along with exclusive interviews and gameplay footage.

Be sure to also keep your eyes on Destructoid, as we'll be bringing hands-on coverage from Ubisoft's North American event. Oh, and I realize that neither our coverage nor Uplay is the next best thing to playing videogames at the Louvre ... but beggars can't be choosers, now can they?

if it aint about an announcement about Green lighting Beyond Good and Evil 2, I don't care.

lol, I think everyone is seriously going to hate Ubisoft for the rest of their days if they don't green light some form of Beyond Good and Evil 2. Is this the first time a company broadcasts their own media event? Kind of neat. If Valve did something like this I'd be all over it in a heart beat. Possible new media hype trend?

I'd assume most companies now would need soe other way outside of E3 to get gamers prepared/hyped/looking forward to something. as E3 isn't as big as say 4 years ago.(thanks to the date shift and numbing down how it played.)

I personally like it though. Though I'm only saying. No Green lit BGaE2, and Ubi will have more hatred up their ass for years.

Video games in the Louvre? Kinda hard to argue that video games are not art now.

Am I the only person who doesn't give a crap about Beyond Good and Evil 2?

I'm far more interested in the new PoP title...

I can't for the life of me understand how aome people can say the new PoP looks bad. It's cel-shaded, yes. But is that a bad thing? If a game has some people wondering if it's concept art or not, then I say job well done.

Woah, woah, hold on a minute - who is saying that the new Prince of Persia looks bad? Ugh. Fuck those guys. Seriously. The game is shaping up to be one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. Who cares if it's cell shading? For god's sake.

Are there any in game screens for the new PoP? I love the PoP series, especially the Sands of Time. One of the best platformers ever. I can't wait for the new PoP game.

Sorry for the double, but I just watched a video on that UPlay.com site, and one of the guys says that Far Cry 2 "might be playable at Ubidays, possibly on more than one console." Hell yes, I'm looking forward to Far Cry 2. It looks incredible.

Anyone who thinks the new Prince of Persia looks "bad" needs to be put down. Quietly.

I never said it looked bad!! I said I'm far more interested in IT then anything else by Ubi right now.

It's my second more anticipated game of the year!

I can see the website crashing veeerrry quickly under the weight of the internets. Well, unless it is a replay of the event and not a live stream.
