Up until now, details on Ubisoft's videogame based on Lost have been even sketchier than the mysterious twists of the show it's based on. Today it was announced that they will finally be publicly revealing the game in trailer form at this year's San Diego Comic-Con International, during a Lost Season 4 panel which will take place this afternoon.
While there is still very little information about the game to go on, Ubisoft has revealed that the game will have players taking on the role of a passenger of "doomed" Oceanic Flight 815. Taking on the role of one of the show's many faceless survivors, you will explore the island, face your "dark past," and rub elbows with many of the series' main characters. The game will involve puzzle solving elements, as well a "smoke monster" battle that will likely have the Internet analyzing video for months to come.
Lost is being devloped for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. We'll have the trailer up as soon as we can get our grubby little hands on it.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
I'm actually gonna try and keep optimistic for this, but the game could go downhill quite quickly.
When I told him this, he was pretty pissed off, but I just call it like I see it. Personally, I've gotten everything from Luke Wilson, Jason Schwartzman, and Tom Cruise for myself.
Let's turn this thread into the: "What celebrity do you look like?" thread, and ignore the fact that there's a Lost game coming out.
BTW, Damon Lindeloff plays games and has had a close involvement with this game's production. Hopefully it will be good.
He is defeated with city wide no smoking bans.
Celebrity-wise, I always get that people think I'm the girl from Lazytown.
Based on what you know (without saying much) -- yay, nay, or wait and see?
I still have yet to watch Lost.....another thing I guess I'm missing out on because apparently Kojima watches it...and if Kojima watches it....it's got Snake cooties all over it.
@ Professor Pew we should compare notes haha
People tell me sometimes I look like Judge Reynhold from Fast Times
P.S. We have already been getting the scripts for next season;)
BUM BUM BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUM
I don't know man I would say Rob favors Mathew Fox a lot!! I have been out to The Dresden in Hollywood and had a few drinks with him and he kicked my ass good at GH2 .I really don't see the Woody Harlson comparison ...maybe when he is just being goofy but other then that he pretty much looks like him.
This game has such a high potential for suckage, but it sounds cool, at least. Hopefully they'll do it right and it won't descend into usual TV-adaptation mediocrity.
@Sharpless:
Haha I am a little scared now haha
@Faith
You don't look like any of those women. Well, maybe Sobieski, but that's only a slight resemblance. I've gotten both Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, on seperate occasions. I honestly don't see either comparison.
