Seeing as they go through a great deal of training leading in to the seasons, I would posit that his creative influence would be of more use than yours or mine, or the average game developer.
It's actually a fantastic show that started off weak, but becomes quiet good. The good in it though is something that is never replicated in video games. And that is empathy for characters and horrible circumstances forced on good people by other horrible people. The video game version will no doubt look and feel like what people THINK Spartacus is about. Blood and sex.
I agree with Brice. It has issues, but overall the show is worth watching. Season 3 sounds great, and the Season 2 finale was one of the most entertaining finales ever.

Well, its Ubisoft, so it will be every platform they can think. A first person gladitorial MMORPG on the PS3 using the Move controllers, kind of like CoD with weapon unlocks and character perks, would be awesome and a motion control game I would actually want.

I’ll admit that I thought the show was only blood and sex, but in my defence whenever I came across it there was either sex or slow-mo fighting, in fact most period set dramas seem to be nothing but graphic violence and all the women seem to do is seduce the men and tell them to kill the king or whatever.

I've only seen season 1 and the Gods of the Arena prequel season and loved 'em both. This sounds totally badass and it's almost a guaranteed day 1 buy for me. Ubisoft's actually making stuff that I'd probably enjoy now.
Will it use a combat system like AC? Spartacus battles are basically counter kills spectacular. Especially when he took on a squad of armored romans with only a wooden sword. The ball's in Ubi's court. Will it be like AC in quality, or a $15 download?
