Ubisoft devs discuss Assassin's Creed Liberation

1:30 PM on 10.08.2012

Ubisoft has released a new developer diary for Assassin's Creed III: Liberation, the upcoming PS Vita entry into the alternate history sandbox series. The video spends most of its time discussing the character of Avilene, touching on why they chose a female protagonist and hinting at an struggle taking place within her in the story.

Don't worry, they still take time out to remind everybody that the goal is to make the game as large in scope as its console brethren and that they're working really closely with the Ubisoft Montreal studio working on Assassin's Creed III. Consider yourselves relieved again on that point.

Assassin's Creed Liberation could quietly top AC III

Preview: Assassin's Creed III Liberation is the real deal

As far as I'm concerned, there hasn't really been a portable Assassin's Creed worth playing. Despite the release of three story-based handheld games -- only one less than the console releases -- they have contributed nothing ...more

Four things I loved about playing Assassin's Creed: Rogue

It's been four years since Assassin's Creed became an annual fixture. Every year, like clockwork, Ubisoft releases a brand new, fully developed title in the AC series. But things have changed slightly this year. In a surprisi...more
