Don’t shoot the messenger! There’s some good news and some bad news coming from the Ubisoft camp today -- well, mostly bad news (for us gamers, anyway). Take a look for yourself:
Free Radical’s Haze, which was originally going to be released this December, has now been pushed back into the fourth fiscal quarter of 2007-08.
But wait, there’s more: Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction has been delayed once again and is now scheduled for fiscal 2008-09.
Finally, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2 has been announced and is set for release in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2007-08. All of this news comes courtesy of Ubisoft's financial results, which can be viewed here, if the thought of large numbers and jargon really gets you excited.
Sad news for PlayStation 3 owners wanting a new first-person shooter for the Holidays, isn’t it? I’m a little surprised that the next installment of Rainbow Six is taking place in the same location as before, but I’ve heard that the multiplayer is absolutely top notch, so it’ll be interesting to see how that aspect of the game is improved upon in the sequel.

Boo for Delays!
Fourth quarter is a bit much, really
i should be ALLOWED to play with guns online that i could play in single player mode
Conviction won't be out in April. "Fiscal 2008-2009" would imply that we won't see the game until at least the Summer of 08.
Glad Ubi gave these titles more time. There rep as an outstanding dev/publisher will simply continue to grow.
Ubisoft's main problem to me seems to be them rushing out games before they're completely ready(see red steel abortion). I'd say these delays are probably a good thing. That said, sure does suck for PS3 owners.
only game now is Unreal 3
i thought my blu-ray player would actually get some games.
