I hope that it gets a Steam release at launch this time. Touch screen will most likely be gimmickly bullshit since it is like a 3-4 button game not including the d pad.

I'm pretty sure that was planned for E3. It just looks like an E3 video. Atleast they didn't do the "We don't know what you're talking about, this game doesn't even exist" response we normally get.

That's pretty much what I was thinking. Why would anyone working internally require a trailer like this? Obviously it's not a finished piece (what with all the borrowed music) but it doesn't seem like something that wasn't meant to be seen.

I loved Rayman Origins and I'm sure this will be just as good. This is now my #1 anticipated game (sorry lollipop chainsaw).
I actually really liked the use of the tablet here, so anyone else can fuck off. It won't be required. Jeez. This was definitely intended for E3.

I hope there's some kind of word on Beyond Good & Evil 2 at E3. Isn't it supposed to be a Wii U title as well? I don't even care if they show any actual media, I just want word on if it's in production.
I will buy this game (and probably for wii u too), but I wonder why ubisoft found the need to bring a sequel so soon, especially given the sales of origins. I'm not complaining, but it's just the Ubisoft is a business, and by business standards, this is kind of a dumb move.
Also I have always believed a flexible price system should be put in place, so 40 dollars is what I'm spending (I'm sure most will wait for 20; can't fault them).

Everyone says Origins was a failure but I'm pretty sure they sold over a million copies of it, over like six platforms, but still. Regardless I'm stoked for Legends!
I love how developers always refers to their demoes as something that in no way represent the final game, like there's gonna be so drastic changes or something.

Well yeah, sometimes there are drastic changes. Splinter Cell: Conviction comes to mind, or hell, Resident Evil have had about four of those cases. Even something as Sonic Adventure 2 was heavily changed in the last 6 months of development and Conker's Bad Fur day started as a kids game.
Or, to be super-on-topic, Rayman: Raving Rabbids was originally Rayman 4 and not a mini-game collection, though we didn't get to see too much from that, though I think the GBA game still was kept as it was intended.

Seriously you want to boycott probably the best 2-D platformer of the year because of a well made but derivative 3-D adventure game? Us smart people who like good things will be playing this came feverishly while you sit around emo crying.

As stoked as I am for a new Rayman game, especially in the vein of the superb Origins, I can't help but feel it's a little too soon. After all, it's only been a year, unless of course this is intended for a 2013 release.

This had better be released on PS3/Xbox360, too. As much as I love Rayman and every Rayman game out there, I am NOT buying a Wii U solely for this. (I wouldn't buy a Wii U for any game, in fact, because I think the Wii U looks awful.)
Still, I'm glad that they stuck to the same basic physics engine as Rayman: Origins and that it looks like its predecessor, because that's exactly what I wanted when I finished Origins. More.

I really hope the game's plot make sense. The only part where Rayman Origins failed is in the story department (and the variety in selectable characters, and also making those muses interesting characters. They're hot, but they're still very boring characters).
