My mom's long lost sister works for Topware Interactive and she said that they're dropping the numbering system for the sequels and just going with "Six Worlds" instead of "Two Worlds 3".
Wait....when did two world win GOTY? I mean, I love rereleases with all the DLC included, but I thought you'd need to call yourself "Gold Edition" like Resident Evil 5 if you didn't win GOTY.

I dont even understand why they would release this. There is no DLC for this game, and the Pirate Expansion isnt out yet. The already included patches are a pretty dumbfuck feature to place on the box, since you know for consoles theres been a total of what, one patch? They need more fucking content to even think about a "GOTY" edition, and when exactly did they win GOTY? The game was released this year and 2011 isnt even over yet. Unless of course they plan to sell the expansion for 60 bucks, then yeah i guess i could see this being a good deal.

Lol. The game is decent, but drives me crazy with mages crashing in multiplayer on the steam version. The convos with arm waving gets obnoxious but the mechanics and graphics work out.
If it's priced right and the expansion is as good as it looks, I'll bite. Silly Topware and their seemingly self-proclaimed GOTY...
I'm glad I didn't bite when Steam had TWII for 17 bucks. Still, I'll wait until the whole package (original + expansion) is 17 bucks.

after a quick google search it appears celgaming gave Two Worlds 2 a GOTY award and they dont even have an wikipedia article so a GOTY edition is slightly justifiable. But I think usually any game just comes out with a GOTY edition regardless of whether they won a GOTY award. They should probably put a stop to this it's almost fraudulent marketing and such. Also if a games publisher made their own gaming review website and awarded their own games GOTY awards just so they could sell GOTY editions justifiably, it would make me laugh a little.
