Two Worlds II 'Pirates of the Flying Fortress' expansion photo

Topware has announced the first expansion pack to Two Worlds II, Pirates of the Flying Fortress. After selling 2.5 million copies worldwide, the publisher has determined that another adventure in Antaloor is more than worth it.

Flying Fortress adds "dozens" of new weapons, "impact-oriented" horse armor, new breeds of horses, a fresh selection of bosses, rain/thunderstorm weather effects and new animations in dialog/cutscenes. Obviously, a new single-player quest is on the cards, and there will also be some new multiplayer maps.

Sounds good to me. I'll take another excuse to play the game again.

HA! I was waiting for more TWII content! They really sold 2.5 million copies? Not too shabby, I must say.

Wow, more sold than I'd have thought. Not that it wasn't a great game, but due to the 1st I know I had trouble getting people to believe it was any good.
Can't wait. Hopefully the list of improvements will fix dialogue/music skipping in busy areas.

Waiting for a price drop and the backlog to die down a bit.

nice! Glad I kept this game... even if I do have to be a guy in the single player. :(

Nice! This is one of those games that took me a few hours to get into, but once I did I was totally engrossed until the end. Quite a pleasant surprise!! I will definitely be getting this.

Oh, and horse armor. Brilliant.

Sold! Unless it's unreasonably priced.

I played through TW2 on PC (with a 360 controller), and it was a blast from start to finish. Took me about 50 hours to get through it. I don't know that I did every single quest possible... I'm sure I could go searching every inch of the islands to find a bit more to do, but I did all the quests from the main towns. But as long as this is reasonably priced, I'll check it out for sure.

Also the Strategy Guide is now showing up here and there. Third party seller on Amazon for about $25 with shipping.
Hope to see you in the PS3 multiplayer. If I win the lotto then perhaps the PC also.
