Oh hey, it's the box art for Two Worlds II. And, if I'm not mistaken, the white-eyed creepy guy is posing with the girl for some unintentional hilarity. Also attached in the gallery is a nifty rebate form.
Using said form, pre-orderers can get $10 back and a "Yeah, I like to kill" t-shirt on top of whatever retailers themselves are offering for fronting the bill early.
Perhaps most important of all, it was confirmed that the mage class can summon bees in Two Worlds II. Thanks for an excuse to use my favorite tag, Reality Pump.

Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied:
"bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
I'll keep my eye on the reviews when the game does drop, but I am honestly expecting very little.
Comparing this game to a game released over four years ago is not a good sign.
Nearly everything I have heard about this so far is good (that's not to say it's true of course).
I tried to buy a copy on eBay while I'd had a few and ended up buying the Two Worlds 2 (disc collectors edition) for £22.50. LOL. I was fucking devastated when it came through the door.
I may have to get this to help tide me over until 11-11-11 :)
Also, this will be better than whatever Bethesda drops out of its ass next November. ;)
"Original product barcode cut from your Two Worlds II package"
No thanks. Don't need a shirt that won't fit me bad enough to cut up my packaging.
Especially when said game (Oblivion) runs on that dreadful engine. Lol
Or, someone who bought the original Two Worlds at full MSRP and is damned if he's not going to be scrutinizing the hell out of the sequel? Like I said, I'm reserving judgement for the reviews. I haven't actually made fun of Two Worlds II. I said it looked a lot like other action RPGs, and that a t-shirt and rebate's not enough for me to preorder the game.
I went on to say I'd be considering the reviews carefully before I made my decision. I don't trust publishers when they say "This next game will be different! It'll be fantastic!"
Remember Sonic Colors? The internet as a whole was shitting its pants with the return to form and how this Sonic, this would be the one to restore the Sonic franchise to its glory days as a Mario competitor. The hype only spiked HIGHER with the release of Sonic 4: Episode 1, with people saying "Well, at least we have Colors to fall back on!"
And we got (an admittedlyu great) Sonic Rush rehash and another shit 3D Sonic game. Call me jaded, but I prefer to defer to my pattern recognition and keep my coin in my pocket rather than spend it on the vain hope that the next title a publisher releases will be good.
At this point I still want the game, but I may wait until I actually see it on the shelves before buying it.
Stupid marketing people. :(
@xiaolinstyle - I personally volunteer for this, but know that you're not going to need to. A few years ago, I let Jim Sterling punch me in the face for Velvet Assassin, so know that I'm good for it should you not be satisfied. :)
