Two Worlds II box art and a pre-order bonus photo

Oh hey, it's the box art for Two Worlds II. And, if I'm not mistaken, the white-eyed creepy guy is posing with the girl for some unintentional hilarity. Also attached in the gallery is a nifty rebate form.

Using said form, pre-orderers can get $10 back and a "Yeah, I like to kill" t-shirt on top of whatever retailers themselves are offering for fronting the bill early.

Perhaps most important of all, it was confirmed that the mage class can summon bees in Two Worlds II. Thanks for an excuse to use my favorite tag, Reality Pump.

Word from real RPG gamers in Europe has this as a good game with little hype. I loom forward to testing that out soon.

I can't say I'm excited. Two Worlds was garbage, and no matter how impressive the trailer for the sequel wants to be, when I watch it I see a generic action RPG not far removed from Gothic 4 or Fable III. After the shit that was the first game, I'm not tempted in the least to preorder it, not for a crappy t-shirt and a rebate on something I think I'll be overpaying for at retail.

I'll keep my eye on the reviews when the game does drop, but I am honestly expecting very little.

@Fort Cancer

Comparing this game to a game released over four years ago is not a good sign.

Nearly everything I have heard about this so far is good (that's not to say it's true of course).

I tried to buy a copy on eBay while I'd had a few and ended up buying the Two Worlds 2 (disc collectors edition) for £22.50. LOL. I was fucking devastated when it came through the door.

C'mon meteorscrap, you know you want that shirt! It even comes with a friggin' game!

I may have to get this to help tide me over until 11-11-11 :)

Even with "little hype," Two Worlds II has sold a ton in Europe.

Also, this will be better than whatever Bethesda drops out of its ass next November. ;)

I can't wait to try this, more fantasy settings cannot be a bad thing. Way to start off a badass 2011.

Holy sh*t, someone making fun of Two Worlds. What avant-garde humor!

Reading fine print...
"Original product barcode cut from your Two Worlds II package"

No thanks. Don't need a shirt that won't fit me bad enough to cut up my packaging.

I've seen around the interwebs you can find a demo of two worlds two and I've seen some gameplay of said demo and it looks pretty good. Mind you the beginning seemed a bit generic (as most beginnings often are) but it left me hopeful that it would turn out great. The graphics also look great with, as far as i could see, no bugs. Tall grass waving when the character walked was fantastic.

ive owned this for a couple of weeks, and i am loving it. the depth and playtime is awesome and the orcs looks like warhammer orcs (totally badass). the contols for pc is really bad but really good for the consoles. one thing that impressed me was the loading times and how many quests that are available. the voiceacting tho is all over the place. its a solid game all in all and rpg fans will like this alot.

From what Ive seen it seem like a more than solid game. Im glad I randomly checked here. I can get $10 back and a t shirt! That's the best preorder gift to date!

Especially when said game (Oblivion) runs on that dreadful engine. Lol

Still can't get over the fact that they're calling it "Two Worlds II." Or ow much that header image looks like a really good imitation of Lord of the Rings, as seen by a 10th grader.

I imported the English version via download on the Shop link of the official site over a month ago and I am LOVING IT. I can't get over how great it looks and plays. There are LOADS of quests, the engine is smooth as silk, the writing is great with lots of good humor thrown in, the voice acting is WAY better than the first game, the weapons and monsters and locales and npcs are all varied and keep the game interesting, the magic and combat is fun and exciting. Crafting your own spells and potions adds a lot of depth. Really, I can't think of any serious downside to owning this and playing it as much as you can!! If you love open RPGs that go long and deep, then BUY THIS ASAP!!!

Or, someone who bought the original Two Worlds at full MSRP and is damned if he's not going to be scrutinizing the hell out of the sequel? Like I said, I'm reserving judgement for the reviews. I haven't actually made fun of Two Worlds II. I said it looked a lot like other action RPGs, and that a t-shirt and rebate's not enough for me to preorder the game.

I went on to say I'd be considering the reviews carefully before I made my decision. I don't trust publishers when they say "This next game will be different! It'll be fantastic!"

Remember Sonic Colors? The internet as a whole was shitting its pants with the return to form and how this Sonic, this would be the one to restore the Sonic franchise to its glory days as a Mario competitor. The hype only spiked HIGHER with the release of Sonic 4: Episode 1, with people saying "Well, at least we have Colors to fall back on!"

And we got (an admittedlyu great) Sonic Rush rehash and another shit 3D Sonic game. Call me jaded, but I prefer to defer to my pattern recognition and keep my coin in my pocket rather than spend it on the vain hope that the next title a publisher releases will be good.

I'd really like to preorder this game... but frankly the marketing department keeps delaying the release, and with the announcement of Mass Effect 2 now coming out around the same time, I wonder if they'll delay the release yet again. Apparently the new date is January 25th (already changed from January 8th or whatever)... this game has had more release dates than I can actually count.

At this point I still want the game, but I may wait until I actually see it on the shelves before buying it.

Stupid marketing people. :(

@ilovepancakes - Glad you are enjoying it! :)
@xiaolinstyle - I personally volunteer for this, but know that you're not going to need to. A few years ago, I let Jim Sterling punch me in the face for Velvet Assassin, so know that I'm good for it should you not be satisfied. :)

bahahaha! no amount of special offers or hype could ever make me preorder two worlds 2 after the shitfest that was the first game.
