Stupid parents sold out their childs name for a couple hundred bucks worth of games. Did they even consider how difficult that will be for peers and others to pronounce or spell?

Damn. I just had a little girl and was unaware of this....... seriously I would never name my child "Dovahkiin" though. lol
He's definitely going to be teased by some dragons on the playground. Most people probably won't even be able to pronounce his name, hopefully he goes by just Kiin or better yet Tom.

Yeah, I heard on some TV show they did the same thing to some poor kid thousands of years ago when the first Elder Scrolls game came out. They called him 'Pliny' or something like that. Luckily, he got pretty famous in his time.

Yeah, this doesn't really seem that bad. They'll call him Tom and he'll have a cute story to tell people about what his other name means and how he got it. It'll be a fun ice breaker for him at parties.

The fact that people actually care what someone names their kid baffles me more than someone naming their kid 'Dovakiin' lol -- "baw its too hard to pronounce/spell" Oh boo fucking hoo, yes I name my child for YOUR sake of being able to pronounce it or spell it correctly.

In fairness, it does sound kind of Russian or Slavic. The poor kid can always use that excuse. And names can be legally changed, although I don't know how much it costs to do that.
Wow, I can't believe people think this is a problem. It's a name so what? no name is really any better or worse then another (except apple that is just dumb). I don't know what kind of school you guys went too, but I seriously doubt a child would be teased for having a name that isn't bob or Fred, no-one will care what his name means. And besides dragon-born is a decent name, who cares if it is different from the usual Latin based names given to everyone else.

Actually every normal man can understand why they make nude mods for games.
No sane man can understand why gamers get shocked by a pair of boobs but have no problem with guts flying arround, because that is what is sick about gamers. If they would just look at boobs, you could say they are healthy little mofos who will produce some kids in the future. But if they have fun shooting people in the head then you can't really say much about it besides "I really hope he goes to the army and to a land far, far away from home to act out his sick sexual fantasies."

Big deal. People will call him Tom, and all the other little boys will be jealous as hell. I would have killed for a name that meant something like that when I was 12. After that, it will be an amusing icebreaker type story. There is also the option to change it later, provided Bethesda goes belly-up, or they stop playing the games.

Its a manageable nerd name. Better than Darth oh which I have met two in my travels thus far. Besides, he could have always been named Tad or Cody. Yeesh.
