Today Konami has revealed details on two downloadable content packs coming to Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, which are expected to launch in early 2011.
The first is "Reverie," which has players returning to the castle to help an ex-servant of Queen of the Vampires, Carmilla, Laura. It seems that when (spoiler!) the Queen was slain, an evil was unleashed… it's your job to take care of that, of course.
"Resurrection" is the second pack, and is said to be the larger of the two add-ons. It will take place immediately after the end of the disc's narrative, giving "some insight into the dramatic epilogue seen by players upon completion of the game." Konami adds that it will feature a "final showdown with a very notorious enemy."
No word on pricing or release timing outside of that "early 2011" I mentioned earlier. Who's ready to slay some more monsters?

I might pick Resurrection up, but just 'cause I'm a CV whore... After beating the game I had little to no intention of playing it again so they'll have to make it good if they want my money. :)
Using your items? Some of the item special effects are super effective, like the Holy Water shield. Also fairy crowd control

I'll definitely be sure to pick these expansions up. This game was epic and huge on its own, so this will ACTUALLY feel like DLC, and not withheld gameplay released for an extra buck.
