It is always a good idea to pass the controller around in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. According to an MSNBC report, a Milwaukee man recently stabbed his brother over a PS2 controller. The Waukesha Police department cites that the stabber was upset over not being allowed to play.
It was probably like any other fine evening at the brothers’ home – except with more stabbing, slicing and choking. The fight over the controller began innocently enough (choking), but quickly escalated when the brother protecting the controller (and being choked) took out a knife and started slashing at his greedy brother’s hands. Injured from the slashes, the other brother took the knife and jammed it into his brother's chest.
Instead of playing the game, the victor fled the scene and later popped up at a hospital where he was picked up by police. No word on which game they fought over.
[Update: You know, I missed the part where it said that the brother with a knife in his chest didn't die. I deserve to have my blogger license revoked.]

this is why all games need offline co-op minimum.
I got pissed and kicked their asses out of my (parent's) house. It was badass. Then I unscrewed my SNES controller and plugged the wire back into the little plug. Those were the days when controller repair was a simple and straightforward affair. None of this analog stick nonsense.
God I hate myself.
You want to play a PS2, but someone won't let you. You can:
1. Stand in front of the tv until they become annoyed and give up.
2. Unplug their controller at a crucial moment.
3. Turn off the system and laugh at their lost progress.
4. Choke them.
Someone is choking you over video games. You can:
1. Give him the controller, because he's crazy.
2. Punch him in the balls, because he's crazy but you refuse you yield to madmen.
3. Slash at him with a knife, because you're both crazy.
Your crazy brother is slashing at your hands with a knife because you were forced to choke a bitch over video games. You can:
1. Realize how absurd this is and back off.
2. Kill him and flee the scene.
3. Kill him and play the game.
