Twisted Pixel offers up a first look at LocoCycle

In Twisted Pixel's new game LocoCycle, you play as a sentient motorcycle named I.R.I.S. Very little about the title has been discussed so far, but the title will get its public debut at PAX Prime 2012 later this week. For now, we've got gameplay footage and a second video which shows the game's voice cast.

I'm not entirely sure what's going on or why that person is being dragged, but the fact that they don't (to my knowledge) explicitly explain who he is makes me laugh. Based on this trailer, LocoCycle looks like Spy Hunter with hit combos. I'm ... interested, actually.

Twisted Pixel will be bringing real-life I.R.I.S. and S.P.I.K.E. motorcycles built by Southern Metal Choppers and Legacy Effects to PAX at booth #3012. There will also be gameplay demonstrations where more is hopefully made clear.

As shown in this video, Lisa Foiles will voice I.R.I.S., while Robert Patrick takes on the role of antagonist S.P.I.K.E. I'm not convinced this whole game wasn't just a ploy for Twisted Pixel to hang out with Patrick.

Twisted Pixel's Lococycle is a rather polarizing game. Chris seemed to enjoy it. I, on the other hand, did not. Judging by the treatment that Microsoft's giving it, the general public appears to be just as divided. Major...
LocoCycle is a pretty flawed game, but if you're looking for a bit of silly fun it can deliver on a rainy afternoon. Previously it was an Xbox One timed exclusive, but now developer Twisted Pixel has announced that it wi...
LocoCycle is a pretty insane game. In some ways it's wrong, in others, it's oh so right. But one thing's for sure -- if you love cheesy action films and want something completely different in a videogame, Loco might be your huckleberry. Here are some tips to facilitate said craziness.
I've always had a soft spot for SpyHunter. Although Twisted Metal and other arena-based shooters are great in their own right, there's something special about an action racing game that lets you hit the open road. LocoCy...
Twisted Pixel's launch title for Xbox One, LocoCycle, already stands out by way of its premise alone, in which an unfortunate mechanic is literally dragged into a conflict involving sentient motorcycles. Today, they've annou...
For a while now, I've had the urge to play a Spy Hunter-like game. (But not, oddly enough, an honest-to-goodness, actual Spy Hunter -- trust me, I've tried.) I'm starting to look toward Twisted Pixel for a helping hand. Loco...
After seeing Twisted Pixel's LocoCycle at multiple trade shows in the past, we were finally able to go hands-on with the game on the Xbox One. It's going to be a downloadable launch title when Microsoft's new console is released, with an Xbox 360 release to follow some time later. So how's the game? Fun! It's got the charm that makes all Twisted Pixel games enjoyable.
The upcoming Road Rash-esque LocoCycle is now headed to the Xbox One as a launch title, with the original Xbox 360 version pushed to a "further date," according to Twisted Pixel. It'll be launched as a "digital exclusive" thr...
In addition to checking out a playable build of Ms. Splosion Man, I also had the chance to view a private hands-off demo of LocoCycle, showing off about ten minutes of gameplay. To say that LocoCycle's theme is insane i...
LocoCycle is well underway, and a new video has just been released to acclimate us with Freddy Rodriguez, the voice actor who plays the part of Pablo. Twisted Pixel sat Rodriguez down to introduce his often out-of-contr...
