the fact that they ignore nintendo games makes the program worthless. lets have a game award show, but we'll exclude the best dev in the business, because their games have too many colors/are too kiddy/or whatever other bs reason they arbitrarily come up with.
I can't watch these videos on my phhoooone. D: I miss my laptop for these reasons. And the fact I can't go on the forums, either. Grumblegrumble.
Yeah, I only played one of those nominees, and it was a rental (GoW III). I mean, I'm sure the others are great, in their own ways, but they just don't really interest me except for maybe ME2. Sometimes I wonder what it's like to have a decent amount of the stuff you like actually be popular... And you're right, it absolutely blows me away that Mario Galaxy 2 didn't even make the list. Wasn't it one of the most popular game this year as well, aside from all the critical success?

Not even the combined force of Neil Patrick Harris and Chad could get me to watch the VGA's. Seems like some jocky popularity contest that shows just why gaming is still considered an immature pastime.
Normally I would agree with you Chad and get angry that SMG 2 should have been nominated for GOTY, but I'm too upset that KIRBY'S EPIC YARN WASN'T NOMINATED!!!!!!!
You know, I don't even have enough fingers for all of the would-be GOTY candidates. Seriously, we had another pretty good year.
Also, SpikeTV is going to appeal towards its own demographic above all else. Sure it may mean that some titles get ignored, but it's not like any of the more legitimate video game organizations such as the ESA are stepping up either. Let's just have some fun with this and hope that they don't disrespect us gamers too much this year :P

Chad, I went and saw the Rocky Horror picture stage show in Glasgow last month, and the dude playing Rocky was your identical double. Except, maybe slightly better built than you. Not much though. Now if I don't see anything half as arousing on GTTV tonight, I will be disappoint.
so guy from the VGA's and game trailers called into my local radio station talk show this mourning. not much info. just blabbering about CODBLOPS. the mention of a secret character in the new mortal kombat that will be revealed Saturday. kinda pointless interview if you ask me.

The nominations are overall a joke and I suspect the results will be the same. I'll be watching the VGA's for the exclusive trailers and such. It is true that I could just wait for them to be posted on the internet, but where's the fun in that?
