I remember on the Gametrailers feed during E3 Crystal Dynamics or who-ever was making a big deal "oh your gonna love who Lara is... But we can't tell you yet!"
I like True Blood and all, but I could care less... Honestly won't hurt whether I'll like the game or not, the gameplay and story will make or break that, but its not like her Mo-cap work is going to matter THAT much, when they're just going to skin her to look like this version of Lara.. If it isn't going to look exactly like her, it doesn't matter, she'd just a voice who also managed to get some ping pong balls pasted to her for a number of hours.. Sounds like a normal saturday night to me..

So, is that her we’ve been hearing this whole time or was that placeholder? Because the voice acting has been my biggest complaint about the game so far, even the accent slips and apparently she’s English.
Granted, half the script seems to be “awkwardly say what you’re doing out loud for no reason” or “scream in pain as you fall out of a tree and hit every branch on the way down” but still....not something I’d be bragging about.

Fans of HBO's True Blood actually won't recognize her since the episodes she is in haven't even aired yet...
Based on IMDB it looks like she's going to be in a bunch of episodes of True Blood later this season (and has not yet been in an aired episode), hence why no one recognizes her.

From what it looks like, she's never had a meaningful role in a worthwhile project, Nor has she done any VO work...
That being said, She's not really famous enough to be considered a gimmick hire.
