Kalypso Media has just announced the existence of Tropico 5, a follow-up to the insanely successful simulation series. Penultimo the Presidente will return, as he embarks upon yet another authoritarian term on the island of Tropico. The setup in Tropico 5 involves taking over during the island over the course of centuries, balancing wars against opposing governments, factions, and even your own family.
Various historical events will test you throughout time, such as both World War 1 and 2, and the Cold War. Right now, the game is planned for the Linux, Mac, PC, and Xbox 360 platforms. I'm a big fan of a few of the Tropico games, so this sounds pretty interesting -- we don't get enough simulation these days!
