It's worth noting that after PSN comes back up, the new activation limit will be in place for new purchases. So if you want to buy a game and have a limit of 5 activations, you better buy it now.

Never had a problem playing online during downtime when "some users may be able to play online during the maintenance" was applied.

Skyward Sword comes out tomorrow in EU hopefully, so who cares. I don't play online anyways and I check PSN like once a month. I'd also buy some stuff from PSN so I could share it with a couple of friends for the last time, if I weren't completely broke at the moment.

The maintenance is almost certainly to implement the change that drops our ability to activate content we purchase from 5 PS3s down to 2 PS3s.
Day in the life of a ps3 user playing skyrim because of PSN outage:
1 - play skyrim for 5 hours
2 - save file goes over 5.5mb
3 - unistall skyrim
4 - burn it
BETHESDA YOU BELLENDS YOU SAID THAT THE PS3 VERSION WOULD BE THE BEST AFTER THE PS3 AND IT DOESNT EVEN WORK
i swear they are trolling us

The worst thing isn't the 14 hours, it's that today is the PS3's 5th bday! Way to celebrate Sony...jesus, are these people idiots? Such bad timing, makes you wonder if anyone at Sony actually realized this.
