I've run out of complimentary things to say about the visuals in the Trine series, so I'll just point you to this trailer for the now-named Trine 2 expansion, Goblin Menace. Prepare your eyes for vibrant colors.
Due out first on Steam this fall, the six-level Goblin Menace will also eventually be found on Wii U by way of the Trine 2: Director's Cut, which is shaping up to be an excellent retail package, assuming this new content plays half as good as it looks right now.
"We feel this expansion is our best work to date," said Frozenbyte CEO Lauri Hyvärinen. Of course, those new levels will also be coming to platforms besides the ones already mentioned, though the studio is holding off on announcing any specifics for the time being.
