Tribeca L.A. Noire preview and swag to win
Despite Jim's recent rantings the worlds of film and gaming are growing ever closer. We can argue over whether this is a boon or a detriment to gaming all we want, but when this fact means that Destructoid's sister manly brother film site, Flixist, gets to check out a hotly anticipated game at a premiere film festival it's hard for us at Flixist not to call it a boon. The game was Rockstar's upcoming L.A. Noire and the festival was this year's Tribeca, going on right now in the grand old city of New York. Flixist is there checking out the films and hanging out with celebs (like Captain America himself) and we managed to wander into (read: invited to) a panel and demo for L.A. Noire that Rockstar held. Head over there to read all about the game's first murder, what L.A. Noire was inspired by and just why it was showing up at a film festival in the first place. Oh, and you probably want to read the whole preview as there's some swag you could win too. Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
