Yes, this is excellent new indeed. I just hope they make the multiplayer even more fun,and they make the voices even more awesome. A few people saw me playing it and thought the voices sounded too human. ┐('～`；)┌
I still haven't gotten around to really sitting down and playing the first one, but I'm already excited for the sequel.

The first one was awesome. Three player co-op and Escalation mode kept me coming back for more and more with my friends. It was just the multiplayer that suffered from those dumb HOST HAS QUIT MATCH, messages. If they fix that and add ALOT more character customization plus more weapons BAM awesome sequal!!
Loved the first game, but a lot of the "host has quit match" and players being dropped, is because of the netcode. For some reason I kept getting dropped only on that game. Every time on escalation. Coop was perfect though.

Wow! I must be lucky.....I never saw the "host has quit match" messages a few of the other users here have posted about.....and I've gotten up to level 100...twice, because of Prime Mode.
Hopefully we get some bonuses for having maxed out the first WFC.

Wait, how exactly are they gonna make a story for the sequel? [SPOILERS] cuz at the end of the first game the Autobots leave cybertron in the arc which is basically when they end up on earth where they spent 1 million years (or so) inactive[/SPOILERS], sure they could do a story about the perils mid travel but wouldn't that be a little too simple?
Well I'll certainly rent and beat this one. Just hope that the environments look less like the enemies this time. More than once I would be shooting at a computer console thinking that it was a lazy Transformer.
@EdgyDude The end of the game sees the vast majority of the planet evacuated, but the Ark itself is still just under construction. It could take hundreds, or thousands of years to complete the Ark, so plenty of time to explore the war on Cybertron leading up to the final exodus to Earth.
hope the next one isn't so generic. it might have been good for a licensed game, but after Arkham Asylum the bar has been seriously raised. they really have to use the source material more effectively, because the first one really didn't do that.
Game was fucking amazing. If I just got more of the same I'd be happy. Next time, however, High Moon shouldn't even consider porting TF to the PC unless they plan on supporting it, it's an unfortunate low-pop steam game for how incredibly fun its MP is.
@EdgyDude Optimus prime, bubmlebee, sideswipe, ironhide, ratchet and the aerialbots didn't leave. optimus announced the arc was being built. It wasn't finished, so they're still on cybertron!
