Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen the videogame is getting some awesome DLC that I wouldn’t mind paying for. Mind you, I’m still waiting for the game to hit bargain bins before actually picking the game up.
Anyway, if you hate how the Transformers look like now, you won’t have to put up with it any longer. A DLC pack is coming where you’ll be able to play as Generation One versions of Optimus Prime, Megatron, Starscream and Sunstorm. Soundwave, Sideswipe, Jazz and Jetfire are also coming along for the DLC ride plus some new skins for Ratchet, Sideswipe and Bumblebee.
You’ll also be getting some new maps:
- Courtyard: set in the U.S. east coast, pitting players directly in a central action area flanked by open skies and tall skyscrapers
- Hillside: takes players to the urban backdrop of Cairo, where players will fight in the war-torn streets and alleyways of a ruined cityscape
- Sandstorm: transports players to yet another section of Cairo, populated with low buildings and wide-open regions perfect for instantaneous, frenetic action
All this will be yours for $9.99 on the Xbox 360 and PS3 on August 27. Worth it to any of you?

TFs looked like that in the movies. Anyway I'll be picking this game up as soon as it drops below $30 just for this DLC.
They should just get the finger out and make a Generation 1 game
I guess I'm oldschool cuz I grew up with transformers (I'm 31)
But what the fuck is megatron suppose to be? I remember him being a badass chrome hand gun.....now he's some kinda bullshit aircraft or something.
I saw the first movie, but I have'nt even bothered with this b.s. or the game for that matter.
Okay, so, one of the draws of the game is that the player can transform from alt mode to robot at will, right?
...So what the fuck does G1 Megatron transform into? The classic gun? Then what? Lie on the ground?
